Why a solo guitarist?

The perfect background music for any event is something that playfully dances in the ears of people enjoying each other's company on the other side of the room, while fully captivating a guest who wants to sit and enjoy the music.

Solo guitar does just that. It blends top-notch musicianship with effortlessness, a live music experience that serves its exact purpose - to transform every room into something unforgettable. Every time.

Bio

Trained in Classical Guitar at the College of New Jersey, Alan began his professional career by saying "yes" to any gig that came in. This brought him to countless wedding ceremonies, rock clubs across Europe, world fusion festivals, corporate events, restaurants, Irish pubs, and everything in between. In 2020 he made a cross country move from New Jersey to Los Angeles, an experience that has deepened his skills not only as a performer, but also as a songwriter, composer, and producer. This has resulted in solo guitar performances with three-dimensional, emotional guitar arrangements that have an undeniable groove and are alive with spontaneous improvisation.

Since his move to LA, Alan has performed at venues such as The Mint, Hotel Cafe, Silverlake Lounge, Bar Lubitsch, Cielo Vineyards, Catalina View Gardens, Inn of the Seventh Ray, Westin Long Beach, Summit House, Malibu Dream Resort, La Cañada Thursday Club, and Calamigos Ranch. He also has served as a long time resident performer at Casa Córdoba in Montrose, CA, having performed at the restaurant over 75 times.

Testimonials

Praise from past clients

"Alan was a delight! He got on a call with us before our big day and gave us exactly what we wanted. He is a gifted musician and played with care and consideration. Our walk down the aisle felt magical and special because he underscored the energy of the room. While he knows all of the traditional songs played at a typical wedding, I loved that he has non-classical songs in his repertoire and was willing to learn new songs that were important to us as a couple. I'd recommend him again and again. Thank you, Alan!"

- Remi M.

"We were so lucky to find Alan for our garden wedding in Pasadena this year! He's an insanely talented guitarist, and his performance gave our ceremony and cocktail hour such an amazing romantic atmosphere. As we planned our event, Alan took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and help us select the perfect music to match. He even arranged a custom song for us based on my husband's favorite video game theme. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a great classical guitarist in the Los Angeles area!"

- Claire S.

"He knew all the different part of the wedding, and he had a ideas for what works best to during those time, but also he was very open to what we want. He really did a great job learning the song that we requested and it was perfectly beautiful! He brought his own equipment, and he was very easy to communicate with. We really appreciated how he made our day! He is really good musician with a great sound. Our wedding was in the forest, and he suited our venue perfectly! Thanks Alan, we really enjoyed the time with you."

- Kurumi S.
