Alan taught me great structure and discipline that are so important with learning the fundamentals of guitar
More importantly he helped me enjoy making music and having fun that's what we all want as end result
I would highly recommend Alan for all age groups for instruction

My boys (9 & 10 yrs old) are taking singing, ukulele & djembe lessons.
Alan's style of teaching makes them very comfortable and has given them the confidence
to perform at their best and have fun at the same time.
They feel like they are just jammin' with a buddy.
I see them improving every week & they look forward to class every week.
It's a win, win for me, as a parent.
I've been seeing Alan for classical guitar lessons for about a year.

I can play with confidence and look forward to learning more advanced pieces.
Most important, I really enjoy practicing.
Along with being an incredibly talented guitar player, Alan is a fabulous teacher who my son (7) adores.
He is patient, kind and understanding.
Alan is consistently successful in creating lessons which are interesting
and always filled with laughter as well as great jam sessions!
Alan does piano lessons for our two sons, aged 8 and 10 now.
We have been doing this for almost 4 years and the progress is amazing,
the boys are still committed to it, and Alan shows patience and persistence to help the boys achieve.
I mean those words in the most positive way possible.
He can really relate to them and push them to achieve while making the experience fun and worthwhile.
I have already recommended him to a friend.
